Frank Egan B.A., LL.B., A.C.L.A., F.T.I.A. (Notary)

Position: Chief Executive Officer
Frank Egan is the Managing Director of LAC Lawyers and has over 30 years experience as a lawyer. Frank heads up our taxation group and specialises in both onshore and offshore taxation arrangements including tax havens. He does not deal with any indirect taxation matters e.g. land tax, stamp duty or payroll tax. He is available to advise clients whether corporate or private on large, serious or complicated matters.

Peter Chandra LL.M. (Notary)

Position: Legal Practitioner Director
Peter Chandra’s mission is to achieve success for clients, LAC Lawyers Pty Ltd and everyone at LAC Lawyers Pty Ltd through honesty, sincerity, integrity, promptness and excellence in provision of legal services and administration.

Charles Gargoura

Position: Victorian General Manager
Charles is our Victorian General Manager who heads a dedicated and experienced team of Lawyers. When contacting our main office in Victoria on 1300 734 638 please ask for Charles, he is an extremely experienced senior company executive who will make you feel at ease when discussing your matter.

Michael Pickering B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., M. A.

Position: Senior Solicitor
Michael Pickering is our most senior solicitor employed in the Melbourne Branch of LAC Lawyers Pty Ltd. He deals with a wide range of matters. He has over 30 years experience as a lawyer which he applies for the benefit of clients whether large or small.

Alison Drayton B.A. (Hons). Acc Spec (Commercial Lit.)

Position: Senior Solicitor
Alison combines intellect with compassion and brings to her practice of the law life experience gained in many different places including England, the Caribbean and Ghana. A lawyer with many years experience in a range of jurisdictions, as barrister and as solicitor, Alison is highly regarded as a dedicated professional who is fearless and confident and enjoys a challenge. Alison is a NSW Law Society accredited specialist in commercial litigation (insolvency).

Angelita Manlangit LL.B.

Position: Solicitor
Angelita is a passionate and dedicated lawyer who understands the complexity and emotional aspect associated with Court procedures, particularly in matters such as Criminal Law and Family Law.

Alexandra Egan B.Ec, LL.B.

Position: Solicitor
Alexandra encourages all potential clients to seek advice from a legal representative at the earliest possible opportunity. It happens all too often that we see clients who have acted without legal representation to their own detriment. Alexandra believes that although lawyer's costs may be perceived as high, they do not compare to what they could be without the help of a properly qualified legal professional.

Scott Gray LPAB, Grad. Dip. Legal Practice

Position: Solicitor
Scott is result driven and strives to ensure each client achieves complete satisfaction throughout the life of their matter. He understands the stress that many clients experience and is always available to assist and discuss specific requirements as well as explain industry processes and procedures in a clear and concise manner.

Steven Sher B.A., LL.B., LL.M. (Taxation)

Position: Solicitor
His areas of specialisation are commercial and tax law. He represents clients in a broad variety of commercial matters, in both an advisory capacity and in matters that proceed to litigation. He regularly acts for clients in matters involving the ATO.

Michael Tourkakes LL.B., Grad.Dip.(Leg Prac), Adv.Dip.Bus.(Leg Prac)

Position: Solicitor
Michael is a strong believer that education, hard work and aiding the community are contributing factors to success. He is dedicated to his client’s best interests and always strives to obtain the best results. Michaels approach is to work with his client’s as a team to ensure delivery of desired outcomes. This enables a dispute or claim to be handled in a manner consistent with his client’s individual or business practices and objectives. He is currently undertaking his Masters in Laws at Monash University with an emphasis on commercial alternative dispute resolution.

Oren Polichtuk LL.B

Position: Solicitor
Oren’s legal background training as a general practitioner and litigator has exposed him to a wide range of legal fields and issues which have enhanced his skills and techniques and he can assist clientele to effectively and efficiently settle commercial disputes.

Nicola Bowen LL.B

Position: Solicitor
Nicola has recently joined LAC from the United Kingdom. She completed her LLB in Law at Cardiff University in 2002 and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2003. She is a member of Grays Inn and was in full time practice as a Barrister in London from 2004 until she moved to Australia at the beginning of 2013.

As Marketing Manager of LAC Lawyers I am actively involved in bringing our brand to market in the best way possible. At LAC Lawyers we have developed a strategic approach to the way we market our firm and we are currently one of the fastest growing firms in the country with an annualised growth rate in excess of 25%.

Clare Abbott

Position: Paralegal
Clare's experience at LAC Lawyers has enabled her to work with all the solicitors assisting them wherever she can as well as gaining further valuable experience and to provide continuing support in this flexible and stimulating environment.
